Cool Microsoft presentation tool now on iPhone, iPad and Mac
Another month, another set of Office improvements. Microsoft has announced the general availability of its useful Presenter Coach system across every platform, Windows, on the web, iOS, iPad and Android – and Mac support is coming later this month.
Make a better presentations
While PowerPoint and Keynote help you create presentations, PowerPoint Presenter Coach helps you make a better impression when it comes to delivering your work.
The tool uses AI to analyze what you do, tracking body movement, word choice, and pitch to help improve your presentation and public speaking skills. It’s like a real-life speech coach.
Presenter Coach provides users with feedback on their pace, use of monotone pitch, use of filler words, poor grammar, lack of originality, use of sensitive phrases, and more while they rehearse their presentations. At the end of each rehearsal, Presenter Coach users receive a Summary Report highlighting the key pieces of feedback to help them become even better, more confident presenters.
Now with added features
Since launching it in 2019, Microsoft continues to improve Presenter Coach. The three latest feature improvements include:
- The body language feedback feature leverages video capabilities to give presenters feedback on their body language while rehearsing presentations with Presenter Coach.
- Feedback on the use of repetitive language helps presenters identify words and phrases frequently repeated so they are conscious of overuse.
- And with the new pronunciation feedback feature, Presenter Coach can advise presenters on the correct pronunciation of words spoken throughout a rehearsal by displaying word(s) it perceives may have been mispronounced and providing an experience that helps presenters practice pronouncing the word(s) correctly.
