Kandji reaches SaaS agreement with Okta for enterprise tech
Kandji has reached a new partnership with Okta Device Trust, offering compliance and security capabilities tailored for hybrid workforces.
Securing enterprise services and apps
Under the arrangement, those using Kandji device management tools can verify their Apple fleets are compliant before permitting access to Okta-secured SaaS applications. The idea is that this additional layer of protection means SaaS resources can be better protected.
“Hybrid work continues to gain traction, with 41% of U.S. workers still embracing this model. As a result, endpoint device management has become increasingly essential for organizations to remain secure and productive,” said Adam Pettit, CEO at Kandji.
“Combining Kandji’s comprehensive device management platform and endpoint security solutions with Okta’s industry-leading cloud Identity and access management technology provides organizations with unparalleled security across their Apple fleet.”
How this thing works
Everyone in business tech understands the importance of keeping endpoints secure and compliant.
The integration is an end-to-end solution to determine device trust. Once Okta Device Trust is configured, Kandji automatically manages the creation and distribution of all required settings, configuration profiles, and trust certificates. When end users register their devices with Okta via the Okta Verify app, the device will appear as managed in the Okta Universal Directory.
“Together, we’re enhancing productivity, security and compliance f or organizations by automating the device lifecycle and offering reassurance that their end users are accessing applications from trusted devices,” said Jamie Fitz-Gerald, Senior Director of Product Management at Okta.
