Apple has despatched invitations to the usual suspects inviting them to attend a special event at which it will probably reveal the streaming media services it’s been developing on March 25.

Apple Special Event: March 25 is “Showtime’

The event invite includes a few little touches that are unique to this particular story — not least the including of moving pictures in the invitation, as revealed by Matthew Panzarino (see below).

So, what are we expecting?

We think this is all about the movies (more on this here).

This means:

• First sight of some of Apple’s home made TV and movie content.
• Big news for Apple News
• And possibly a little bit more….
