Addigy introduces integration with Malwarebytes
Security is the magic sauce for Apple-focused enterprise MDM firms.
As I see it, every player in the space is seeking out ways to deliver security protection. Jamf with a plethora or powerful protections, Mosyle with Embark, Kandji’s Device Harmony and now Addigy’s newly announced integration with Malwarebytes.
All this activity testifies to the rapidly growing strength of Apple in enterprise IT, as iPhones and Macs buck market trends to continue to see increased use across business.
Addigy introduces integration with Malwarebytes
Cloud-based Apple device management provider, Addigy, has launched a new integration with Malwarebytes, a provider of real-time cyber protection, to streamline endpoint security management for IT.
The idea is that the integration means the two partners can promise what they describe as “out-of-the-box security policies, scans, and remediation for Apple devices.”
What Addigy said
“Without a doubt, cybercriminals are taking note of the growing number of Apple devices in the enterprise,” said Jason Dettbarn, founder and CEO of Addigy.
“We know this by the ever-increasing cyberattacks on Apple endpoints year after year. Even though Apple has continued to introduce new security initiatives and quickly patches vulnerabilities in its software, more is needed to protect business users from the increasingly complex IT threat landscape, which has seen an influx of malware attacks.
“Addigy’s integration with Malwarebytes contributes to the solution by providing IT professionals with an added layer of protection to Apple endpoints.”
What is available?
Malwarebytes’ OneView platform is a solution that lets Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT admins deliver centralized user management, reporting, and global policy applications. It offers a single multi-tenant console and can remediate against threat, report endpoint activity and more.
Addigy customers can deploy Malwarebytes products from within their Addigy console. The following Malwarebytes products are being made available:
- Incident Response (IR),
- Endpoint Protection (EP),
- Endpoint Protection for Servers (EPS),
- Endpoint Protection and Response (EDR),
- Endpoint Detection and Response for Servers (EDRS).
More information on the integration is available here.
