Apple Card will offer iPad app and financing scheme – report
Apple has told us to expect the Apple Card in August, and a couple of additional pieces of information just slipped concerning its plans.
There will be an iPad app
A Bloombergreport tells us that it will be possible to sign up for and manage your Apple Card account using an iPad – which seems reasonable enough – you should be able to manage your account from any machine, just like any other account.
The difference conceivably being that there will, indeed, be an ‘App for that’.
Financing plans will be available
“In new terms disclosed this week, the companies said Apple Card customers also will be offered separate financing plans for certain purchases, in addition to the ability to carry a revolving balance.”
You’ll be able raise financing for certain things (Apple products?) and the amount due for those purchases won’t be included in interest, so long as you pay for them on schedule, typically set monthly payments over a period of time. You might get an iPhone on a zero percent loan over 24-months.
