Apple cuts the cost of student-ing in the UK with hot deals
Apple has launched a fantastic special offer for higher education students in the UK, including big discounts and free access to Apple Music and Apple TV+ – all you need to do is buy a new Mac or iPad.
A few dollars… less
Apple is offering UK students the chance to get hold of a fantastic 15-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip for just from £1,289, or a 13-inch model from £1,049.
The still fantastic M1 MacBook Air costs from £899 (though you do sometimes find these a little cheaper, albeit without the other perks, on Amazon). Attractive deals on MacBook Pro and Mac mini are also available to students under this promotion. iPads also come in for less. For example, the superb 6G iPad Air costs students from £609 while iPad Pro prices begin at £839.
What’s the deal?
The deal, which extends from 13 July until 23 October 2023 and is available to current and newly accepted university students means Mac/iPad purchasers will get:
- A gift card of up to £130 with their purchase of an eligible new Mac or iPad with Apple’s education discount.
- 20% off AppleCare+ to protect their purchase.
- Three months free access to Apple Music
- Three months of free access to Apple TV+.
The deals are available when you make your purchase directly from or at an Apple retail store where you can also customize your purchase.
The free AppleCare is attractive, as it means you can keep your machines in good order for a low cost. You can also get credit with Apple Trade In when you exchange your current device at Apple Retail Stores.
Get 3 months free of Apple Music and Apple TV+ with eligible purchases from 13 July until 23 October 2023, then pay a special student rate.
