Apple Rumor Machine claims May 18 Apple Music/AirTags launch
Earlier this month we heard tell Apple plans a high-res Apple Music (+?) service along with an AirPod refresh. Now the Crazy Apple Rumor Machine claims there’s a May 18 date for these upgrades, to be delivered through a press release.
Bigger bit rate beats
A few days ago, Hits Daily Double told us to anticipate a neww hi-fi audio streaming service in Apple Music at the same cost, $9.99/user/month. It also predicted third generation AirPods.
What this means is that when you listen to Apple Music you’ll experience better sound quality more like Lossless Audio ripped from a CD than the compressed digital sound you’ve become used too. Assuming you have a sound system capable of reproducing that music accurately.
This also suggests improvements in AirPods, potentially including a wider dynamic range and new headphone chip, more akin to the AirPods Pro.
Well, that’s what we’ve said in the past.
The latest speculation claims the new AirPods will be announced through a press release on the Apple Newsroom website on May 18 (h/t: MR). We’ll be watching, I guess…
