Apple updates iWork, iMovie, iCloud folder sharing
Apple has delivered its promised updates for its iWork suite, delivering better collaborative features, new tools and support for iCloud Folder Sharing across its suite of productivity apps.
Apple also introduced trackpad support for iMovie on iPad.
What’s important about these releases is that by weaving application level support for the pointer inside of iPadOS, Apple is also demonstrating how third party developers can improve their implementation of such support.
iWork updates for iPad
The updates deliver plenty of benefits for iPads, including trackpad/pointer support.
Additional new features include new templates in Pages and Keynote and the capacity to add a drop cap to make a paragraph stand out with a large, decorative first letter.
Collaboration also sees a boost as iCloud folder sharing makes it possible to edit shared documents while offline.
