Apple’s AirPods 3 with noise cancellation coming this fall?
AirPods 3 coming this fall?
The report tells us Apple is working with manufacturing partners to make these new products ready for launch later this year.
This follows the company’s recent introduction of AirPod 2with Hey Siri, wireless charging and the new H1 chip.
Noise cancellation will be the biggest feature in AirPods 3, the report claims. The devices are expected to be manufactured by Inventec and Luxshare Precision, who both share AirPod 2 manufacture.
The claims echo previous rumors:

- Onleaks in February made similar claims and also predicted the new model AirPods would also be available in black.
- A Bloomberg report in 2018 made similar claims.
- Digitimes in early 2019 claimed Apple to be developing new AirPods that featured health monitoring tools.
Digitimes also claims Apple has sold 35 million AirPods so far and seems on course to ship at least 50 million sets by the end of the year. The company dominates the market in this sector, it claims.
There have also been some claims that Apple intends offering AirPod tech in over-the-ear style headphones, though these may potentially emerge under its Beats brand.
