Colorful HomePod mini models now available in U.S.
Apple has made colorful versions of its great little HomePod mini smart speaker system available for sale in the U.S., following their introduction in October 2021. The small devices pack a powerful, clear sound and work well with your podcasts, music streaming, Siri and more.
For music, podcasts, smart homes
The new colors include yellow, orange, and blue, as well as their original white and space gray varieties. Apple has put some attention to detail here, so you’ll find details that color-match the speaker, including the touch surface, fabric and power cable
HomePod mini is 3.3 inches tall and makes use of computational audio to provide an impressive acoustic experience. A pair of them are quite capable of filling a room with 360-degree audio that sounds great from every angle..
These systems work with Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, thousands of radio stations, and popular music services like Pandora, Deezer, and others.
They cost just $99.

Siri comes too
Siri can recognize the voices of up to six different household members, tailor music and podcasts to their preferences, and respond to personal requests.
Siri also provides users a personal update for a quick snapshot of their day. Users can ask “Hey Siri, what’s my update?” to hear the latest news, weather, traffic, reminders, and calendar appointments with a single request. With Intercom, users can send a voice message from one HomePod mini to another.
HomePod mini will be available in Australia, Austria, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, and the UK later this month.
