Eve Systems introduces Eve Room
Eve Systems has introduced a new version of Eve Room, one of now ten Eve products that work with HomeKit over Thread, the groundbreaking technology specifically developed for the smart home.
What is Eve Room?
The product makes use of Swiss technology leader Sensirion’s energy efficient sensor to monitor air quality, temperature, and humidity. The third-generation Eve Room is now available for USD $99.95. Eve Systems is among the most prolific HomeKit smart device manufacturers.
Jerome Gackel, CEO of Eve Systems said:
“If you purchase an Eve product with Thread, like Eve Room, you’re making a sustainable, future-proof choice, as Thread is one of the natively supported standards in Matter, the common protocol backed by Apple, Google, Amazon, SmartThings/Samsung, Eve and many more.”
Eve Room helps you monitor and manage air pollution by warning you when it is happening. It gives you data of volatile organic compounds with read outs and detailed graphs by hours, days, weeks, months, and years. You can also monitortemperature, and humidity levels in your home.
Because it uses Thread, it is very easy to install the device onto your system, though an iPhone or iPad running the latest version of the OS is required. The company also confirmed plans to introduce an outdoor version of its indoor HomeKit Secure video CCTV system in 2022.
