Every iOS user needs one of these, but Apple doesn’t make one
If you own an iPhone and an Apple Watch, or an iPad and iPhone, or any other combination of two or more iOS devices, I’m guessing you — like me — plug them in at night to recharge.
You reach for the device, you grab for the cable which you plug into the Apple-supplied power adaptor and plug that into the mains…
Two or more times,
Using a mains socket for each device. You probably need so many sockets you have 4-way, surge-protected adaptors all around your home.
Why does it have to be this way?
Why doesn’t Apple make an iOS approved multi-USB input power adapter capable of powering up two or more devices at once? It’s not as if these things don’t exist — just scan all those travel adaptors sold anywhere (including Amazon) to find multiple examples of them.
I use this one in Europe and one of these in the ‘States.
They aren’t that pretty, but they let me recharge my iPhone, Apple Watch and another device at the same time using just one socket. That’s way easier than trying to find multiple available sockets at home, in the den or any hotel room. It is also easier than toting multiple adaptors on your travels. So why doesn’t Apple make one?

How about IKEA’s KOPPLA solution, works fine for me! 🙂
