iCloud folder sharing is coming soon – and works on Macs, iPhone & iPad
After a long wait, iCloud Folder Sharing is coming.
It will be available across both iOS and Mac – and it is coming in macOS 10.15.4 and iOS 13.4.
The latest developer betas introduce a range of useful enhancements for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
These include:
Screen Time Communication Limits
For Mac!
Head pointer
A feature that changes lives. It means users can move their head and the Mac camera will move the pointer to correspond to their precise movements.
New Memoji Stickers
Nine new Memoji stickers for iOS.
CarPlay
Dashboard supports third-party navigation apps and additional Phone features, including call controls on the dashboard when on a call via the Phone app or any VoIP app that supports CarPlay. (Third party apps may need updating for this).
Share and share alike
However, many will be pleased to experience the iCloud folder sharing feature. This lets you share folders with others either on a limited or link-based basis.
The features works on Macs and iPhones and should have really positive impact for collaboration using Apple platforms.
That’s pretty good, now you can access some iCloud services from Android! It can’t be too long until this becomes a true cross-platform benefit…
