Jamf announces four European dates for Apple IT
European enterprise and education IT admins may be pleased to learn that Jamf will host four events in Europe in June.
London, Amsterdam, Paris, Munich
The Jamf Nation Live events are taking place in London (June 10), Amsterdam (June 16), Paris (June 21), and Munich (June 23). The company invites Apple IT pros to gather at these events to find out more about the company’s enterprise solutions and to learn and share IT experience.
The London event will offer three themed rooms in which presentations, interactive sessions and panels will take place. These will, of course, be focused on the latest news around connecting, managing, and securing devices.
Among other topics, the company promises sessions will include:
- App Lifecycle Management.
- Identity-based access.
- Zero-touch.
- Threat prevention and remediation.
Jamf as a company remains very tightly focused on community, so you can expect networking and social opportunities at these events, which should be of interest to anyone tasked with managing or implementing large Apple deployments.
Insight and community
“The Jamf Nation Live is not a sales expo or a tradeshow. Instead, it’s a welcoming, one day rally of community and Jamf-led presentations, deep-dive education sessions, and expert product insights to discover new and better ways to manage Apple devices with the purpose of empowering people, transforming business processes, and making IT life easier,” the company says.
Jamf is a lead player in a growing Apple enterprise ecosystem. Earlier on this year, the company told us it was running on 26.5 million devices in 21-22, up from 20.5 million devices the previous year.
The company says its products are in use at 9 of the 10 largest companies, as ranked by Fortune 500, particularly as employee choice and remote working schemes favor Apple deployments.
Accelerating change
“We’ve seen the greatest movement of the workforce into their homes in all of history,” Jamf CEO Dean Hager told me last year. “Will this accelerate the consumerization of technology or decrease it?” he said. “I think it will accelerate, because all of a sudden technology isn’t just part of the employee experience, it is the entire experience.”
