Jamf CEO Dean Hager announces retirement, transition plan
Jamf CEO, Dean Hager, is to retire from his position leading the popular Apple enterprise services company as of September 1, 2023. He is to be replaced by Jamf President and COO, John Strosahl.
End of an era at Jamf
Hager will remain a member of Jamf’s Board of Directors following his retirement as Chief Executive Officer and will work closely with Strosahl to facilitate a seamless transition.
“John’s performance as our President and Chief Operating Officer has been spectacular. In his nearly 8-year tenure at Jamf, he has led the team to budget overachievement more consistently than I’ve seen in my 34-year career,” said Hager in a statement.
“John’s incredible global experience, alongside his scientific approach to strategy and building a team, makes him the perfect fit to lead Jamf as the only company in the world to offer a complete management and security solution for the Apple-first enterprise.”
Who John Strosahl is
Strosahl is a former eBay VP at eBay. Prior to eBay, he held a variety of executive roles at Digital River for over 10 years.
first hire on himself joining the company, Strosahl joined Jamf as Chief Revenue Officer in 2015. He became Chief Operating Officer in 2020 and President in 2022. The company notes he enabled the company to embrace subscription revenues and to drive expansion and revenue growth,
