Apple continues to seed its presence in developing markets and this morning’s story underlines this — Apple has plans to open a new research and development centre in Java with another elsewhere in Indonesia. The two new R&D centres will open in the next three years.
This is it as far as it goes, but it underlines how the multinational company plans to extend its web worldwide as it moves to increase its business in developing economies. In related news it plans a huge iPhone advertising campaign in India as it seeks to improve its market position there.
