Now you can take a walk with Prince William (and Apple)
If you wear an Apple Watch and like to walk you can have a prince in your ears, as Fitness+ will feature a Time to Walk session narrated by HRH Prince William.
Listening and mental health
In his 38-minute Time to Walk episode, Prince William talks about the importance of keeping mentally fit. He shares a light-hearted story and talks about the value of listening to empower others and shares a personal experience that led him to prioritize mental health.
The Prince is narrating the final episode of the second season of the Time to Walk series. I really like these shows, which have featured an extensive range of interesting guests, many of whom became famous by deed, rather than birth. I particularly enjoyed shows featuring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Stephen Fry, but they are all pretty interesting.
Time to Walk episodes are available in the Workout app on Apple Watch with a Fitness+ subscription. Fitness+ subscribers can enjoy the episodes anytime, anywhere, with an Apple Watch and AirPods, or other Bluetooth-enabled headphones. Here is how to use it.
Apple is donating to help
Apple is making donations to three charities chosen by Prince William that are doing important work around mental health: Crisis Text Line in the US, Shout 85258 in the UK, and Lifeline in Australia. Crisis Text Line and Shout provide free, 24/7 confidential support for people in crisis via text, and Lifeline provides free, 24-hour confidential crisis support and suicide prevention services.
