Probably the best iPhone battery pack on the planet…
Here’s the ultimate iPhone accessory for outdoor types, festival goers or even so many of us who just want to hide in the hills until the situation improves – a huge portable battery pack called Defense Titan..
What is Defense Titan?
It’s huge.
OK, that’s not particularly informative — but what you get is a portable, rechargeable 224Wh compact power station that can charge your mobile devices multiple times over days – or even run a low power system such as mini fridge for over ten hours, the manufacturer claims.
Titan also powers everything from small appliances to CPAP machines. It doesn’t require any gas or fuel to operate, so it’s eco-friendly, silent and safe to use anywhere you might need power.
How much power does it provide?
A lot.
- Titan can charge your iPhone over 20 times
- Titan can charge your iPad six times.
- Titan can charge your laptop up to five times.
It can run small appliances like mini fridges for over 10 hours. You can also use it to charge up your cameras and drones — multiple times.
Like, great for outdoors, agriculturalists, anglers, wildlife photographers…
How do I charge the Titan?
You can recharge the power bank directly from a wall adapter (7-8 hours), or use USB-C (which takes the same time). You should be able to juice it up from your car in around 11-12 hours, the company says.
The company also sells a solar charger as a separate item if you really want to go off grid but want to keep using your Mac, iPad or iPhone. It claims you’ll power it up with solar in around 5 hours.
How robust is it?
The makers point to its aluminum body and the rubberized protection it carries on each corner. “It will withstand whatever situation you put it in,” they told me.
It also has a leather carrying strap.
