Thinking of switching to iPhone? Apple wants a word with you
Apple recently confirmed Android users have begun switching to iPhone in record numbers. What better time, then, for the company to publish a video to explain how easily Android users can make that switch.
Flick the switch — it’s easy
The company is striking while the iron is hot. We know that Apple is building its market share as the overall smartphone industry slumps, and that the company’s message around privacy seems finally to be cutting through public consciousness.
It also seems iPhone sales are holding up pretty well, despite the wider macro-economic gloom – and Apple wants to get as many (profitable) users as possible signed up to its platform plus services model.
Apple will very soon introduce its next generation iPhone, probably with an always on display and a new high end processor in the top of the line devices. That’s why it makes sense that the company has chosen to woo the Android market.
A video for switch hitters
In its latest video, Apple explains the steps Android users need to take to switch to iPhone, including migrating WhatsApp messages from inside its Switch to iOS app. The 4-minute video is filmed in Apple Store, Barcelona, Spain. It covers the following questions:
- If I switch to iPhone
- Will it be easy to transfer my contacts, photos, and messages?
- Can I trade in my Android smartphone?
- Will it hold up over time?
- Will it be reliable?
- Will it get the latest updates?
- How will my personal info be protected?
- Will I get support from Apple?
Incredibly, the answers to all these queries is yes.
So, if you are thinking of making the switch, this video (for convenience included below) is for you:
