Apple yesterday introduced the new iPhone 14 range, the Apple Watch Series 8, a brand-new Apple Watch Ultra and new AirPods. During the event the company shared numerous videos to explain some of its news. We’ve assembled all of these here for your delight.

Your intrepid blogger was up very late recording all Apple’s news as swiftly as he could. While the sheer volume of information meant analysis was hard to find, you can take a look at some first thoughts for business users here. The company also said it plans to ship iOS 16 and watchOS 9 on September 12.

With the fastest processor in any smartphone, the all-new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are by many metrics also the best smartphones available on Planet Earth – more here. Though equipped with a slightly improved version of last year’s A15 Bionic chip, the entry level range remains highly attractive with the iPhone mini replaced by an iPhone 14 Plus equipped with a massive 6.7-inch display. Apple has competed with itself with Apple Watch Series 8 and the new model SE – because many already wants an Apple Watch Ultra, even if they don’t need it. You can find out more about AirPods Pro here.
Two unique new features also appeared, including satellite based emergency calls thanks to GlobalStar and crash detection. Emergency SOS via satellite combines custom components integrated with software to allow antennas to connect directly to a satellite, enabling messaging with emergency services when outside of cellular or Wi-Fi coverage.
