WWDC 2019: Expect a lot today
I arrived in San Jose for Apple’s big WWDC event late afternoon June 2, and I am picking up a few currents. I don’t think they are quite strong enough for a full post, but felt that some readers may want notes from the field;
1. There are a lot of hardware experts here from the media. This may mean nothing, or…
2. The feeling coming to me from people on the Apple edge is stoked. They seem truly excited this year, which suggests big news.
3. I’m anticipating a long keynote, maybe 2.5 hours.

This is going to be interesting. Because despite all they optimism and excitement, I think there are some big gaps in what the usual suspects are predicting, but wait and see, I guess.
